Dreams Tulum Wedding | Edmonton Wedding Photographers

Conni and I were honored to be asked to photograph Lisa and Byron’s Dreams Tulum wedding this spring.  There is something so intimate and special photographing a destination wedding.  I could tell that every person at this wedding loved the bride and groom from the bottom of their collective souls! Conni and I started off the wedding day photographing Lisa’s stunning jewelry!   Then Conni and I went to check out what everyone was doing around the resort.  Turns out the boys were playing volleyball 🙂 An the ladies were at the salon getting their hair and make-up done! After the salon we followed the ladies back to their suite so they could get ready. Lisa Is STUNNING, I mean really look at her! I love Conni’s shots of Lisa looking out the window.  That look of anticipation make me giggly <3 Somewhere in the middle of all the getting ready I stepped out to try and get shots of the boys getting ready.  True to form the boys were dressed and ready and already drinking beer 🙂 Then it was ceremony time!!!!! A little of Conni’s shot my shot.  I love how the two of us work together to get different photographs of the same event 🙂 Like the first Kiss: Conni’s shot then my shot 🙂 After the Ceremony we wandered around the grounds for a while!!
Then we headed back for cocktail hour! And a few shots at the bar.. While I hung out at cocktail hour and got some pictures of the guests hanging out Conni photographed the reception details at the beach. I followed the bride and groom to the stunning reception! After supper and speeches it was PARTY TIME!!!!! I will leave you with this awesome shot of Conni and Lisa on their phone trying to track down a missing bag (the DJ had it thank goodness), while Byron “holds” the flowers. lol.
